Let the Count Down Begin!!
Hola Amigos!
This time next month I will be on the road to WY. I finally secured housing so if you want to write me via snail mail or send care packages :) then let me know and I will send it to you. I already love my new home; it has amazing views of the city as it sits on top of a hill and it is only 3 miles from my job downtown.
Just a few more things I must take care of before I leave beautiful Bama, but I trust that everything will fall in place.

Getting My Ducks in a Row!
Greetings,
Now that I have a tentative time-line, I have been trying to get my "ducks in a row" with filing all the necessary paperwork. Housing is looking up so far, but nothing set in stone just yet. I think am already starting to feel slightly overwhelmed (mainly because I am so excited and I want all the logistics to be done, umm, tomorrow even though I have until August 15th).
I think by filling in all documents, it is making me realize that I will be leaving this 100 degree weather and trading it in for a much cooler climate in a very short time. I know this will be an amazing year with amazing results. You just watch and see ;-)
Hasta pronto,

Preparation 101
Good Evening,
Welcome to my blog! I have 48 days until I report to the West and I have so much to do--finding a place to live, planning the actual trip, and let's not forget finalizing all the AmeriCorps paper work. I'm tired already thinking about it, but I know the things that I need to do will have an amazing end result.
My Tentative Timeline:
Month of July: Look for housing, Hotel for half-way point, Create a Budget, Finish Paperwork, Create Blog
Week of August 1: Finalize housing
August 7th: Farewell Lunch @ Rosie's Mexican Cantina 1pm-3pm
Week of August 8th: Start packing!
Week of August 15th: Attend Brother's Graduation in TX
Last Girls Night Out: August 20th
August 22nd: Last Sunday @ church
Week of August 22nd: Finish Packing
I am sure I am probably forgetting a few things ;-) At any rate, I will be back to add and cross things off my list.
